For organisations with up to 3000 library items and 500 patrons or less, this is a budget guide for setting up a Koha Appliance. Prices quoted are estimates only, $NZ and GST exclusive. We will provide you with an accurate quote, tailored to your circumstances before we proceed with an installation.

1 x Koha Appliance: $2950.00

* Server setup with Koha v2.2, Apache, MysQL, Perl and Debian Linux
* Configured for internet and intranet
* OPAC templates branded with your logo and company colours
* Koha configuration options set to best meet your requirements

If you find over time the standard configuration options are not quite what you need we will be happy to quote for customisation.

1 Year Support & Management: $2150.00

* Remote Technical support for your IT consultants (for Koha and the server)
* Offsite backup of your Koha Database to a Katipo server, updated daily (optional)
* 1 year of phone and e-mail support for your library staff
* 1 year of regular remote oversight, management and maintenance of the software and systems on the server
* 1 year of patches to Koha as they are released (and if appropriate)


Conversion of your existing data into Koha: $ 1800.00

* This price indicates a two day timeframe. However because proprietary library systems vary enormously we will need to see a sample of your data to confirm the cost of migration

Public Libraries and Bigger Collections
